Ilmul-Atfal is one of the departments amongst 14 departments of Unani system of medicine. The course includes systematic instruction in growth and development, nutritional needs of a child, immunization schedule and management of common diseases of infancy and childhood. Departmental activities include teaching clinical and practical training to the BUMS 3rd year students.
